Delicious, but I like Kimchi from Hmart more
This Kim chi is delicious and healthy, but it doesn’t best the fresh Kim chi from Hmart. It’s a good one and I will buy it again if on sale.

Knock your socks off!
Delightfully spicy with a great crunch! I have added it as a condiment to stir frys and noodle dishes but I also enjoy a random forkful anytime I open the fridge!

Much Larger Pieces Than Other Kimchis
I tried the original flavor and was surprised by the MUCH larger pieces of Kimchi! I couldn’t figure out if that worked FOR it or AGAINST it. I mixed it with white rice and an herb paste/drizzling oil to add flavor to my bland rice and to add veggies to my meal to be healthier. I am a wimp when it comes to spicy heat and this had a bit of a spicy, heated bite to it which made me recoil a bit but it wasn’t too bad. I liked the bold coloring and print of the packaging because it makes it easier to find and read. I like the health benefit claims that it is supposed to be good for your digestion. I’m not sure if the claims actually worked for my IBS gut though because I experienced a lot of burping, belching and flatulence but it is possible that it might have been from something else I consumed. Still though, I thought their advertising claimed that it would help my digestion so I would think that their kimchi would have prevented that or resolved that but it doesn’t appear that that was the case with my experience. I could be wrong, but it doesn’t appear that it benefitted my gut digestion and if that is true, than that is very disappointing and defeats the purpose of eating this because it is kind of a very intense flavor profile that I am not used to for enjoyment’s sake and the large, rubbery and crunchy textures kind of distracted me from my rice and hotdogs, etc.. Therefore, if I don’t appear to experience any health benefits, I am not sure of the point in purchasing it. However, since I want to eat more vegetables in every meal to have a healthier diet and lifestyle, I like the quick and easy convenience of these vegetables being already chopped up and prepared and ready to eat unlike other raw vegetables that I would have to rinse, chop up and stir fry, etc. which would also cause many dirty dishes to wash which I hate. Therefore, having less dishes to wash from just taking straight out of the jar ready to eat is an efficient, beneficial, reason enough to purchase this product! I like that they list some ideas for uses for their product. However, I would also like detailed recipes to be on the bottle because I don’t really know how to use, serve or work with kimchi but am eager to learn. I am just overwhelmed and intimidated not knowing what to do with it. For example, I wasn’t sure if you are supposed to eat it raw for the full nutritional benefits of it or if you could cook with it. I was worried that if I cooked it, that it might lose some of its fermented benefits or enzymes or nutritional value and vitamins, etc.. I feel very lost not knowing what I am doing and am afraid of using it wrong so that is why I procrastinated so long in trying it and writing a review on it. I am also ignorant about how long (how many days or months) it is safe to consume after opening it before it goes bad (when does it expire where it can cause food poisoning) and how long is it safe to consume after the expiration date if unopened. I wish they put this vital information on their packaging labels. In conclusion, if people only like small pieces of kimchi or only like blander foods, I don’t think they would like this product, but if people like spicier, bolder flavors and larger textured pieces of kimchi, then I would recommend this product.

Not my cup of tea
Not my cup of tea but decent product as far as I could tell with natural ingredients and an authentic recipe. I would recommend to my friends who enjoy kimchi.

It's alright
This was an okay brand for a supermarket. I think I would still prefer going to my usual asian market to get my favorite brand of kimichi for less. For the price, it wasn't worth it for me.
