The idea for Storypod was born out of our concern for the increasing dominance of screens in our daily lives — especially for our kids. One evening while introducing our kids to our childhood story tapes, we thought of a way to modernize that experience into something we considered a brain-healthy alternative to screen time.

Shortly after, we created The Storypod and put it on Kickstarter to see what other parents thought of our idea and were blown away to become the 2nd most crowdfunded toy campaign in 2020!

Since then, we’ve been constantly expanding our library of immersive audio experiences and signed several licensing deals with top-tier educational brands like PBS Kids and Highlights. Our efforts have been recognized with a Mom’s Choice Award and several other awards.

Our special thanks goes to all parents that have joined us on our mission to raise smart and healthy kids through the power of audio play! We're thrilled to now be able to offer every family the gift of less screen time and more story time.
